🌴 Who is Island Soul? 🎶

Claudia Tarantino

Italian born singer and songwriter. She vocally trained in pop, soul & jazz music and began performing at her hometowns local venues and theatres as part of many music projects and gospel choirs at a young age.

Claudia moved to London to pursue music, and has since maintained a consistent 200+ gigs a year - performing in London and around the UK for a variety of venues and private events. Musically, she is influenced by Ella Fitzgerald, Erykah Badu, Stevie Wonder and Beyonce. This vibrant combination of styles is the result of her soulful and smooth sound.

Milan Maru

Czech multi-instrumentalist from London.

His musical journey began at the age of 2, playing piano until the age of 15 which brought in guitar. More recently he is exploring bass guitar and music production.

He has 10+ years of experience with over 1000 gigs in different bands for a plethora of venues and clients. Musically, he is influenced by Micheal Jackson, Stevie Wonder and notable jazz musicians such as Bireli Lagrene, Sylvain Luc and Cory Henry.
